Delete your data
You can ask us to delete your personal data from the Dahabi Campaign website at any time. There are two ways to do it, and both reach the same result.
Option one: from your account
- Sign in using the same method you created your account with.
- Open your account settings page.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
This takes effect immediately, with no waiting period.
Option two: by email
Email us from the address registered on your account and say that you are requesting deletion of your data. We ask that the message come from the registered address because that is what shows the request is really from you.
We process requests within thirty days at the latest.
What happens to your data
Erased permanently
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- Your account and every linked sign-in method.
- Your open sessions on every device.
Kept, without your name
The donation records themselves remain, stripped of identity: the amount, the date and the project stay, and nothing that points to you does. We keep them because the charity must be able to account for where every donated amount went, and deleting the financial record itself would leave a ledger nobody can audit.
This cannot be undone once carried out.
This page explains, it does not delete
There is deliberately no delete button here: deletion requires proof that the account is yours, and a public page cannot establish that. Please use one of the two options above.
Confirmation code
If your deletion request came through Facebook you will receive a confirmation code beginning with DEL. Keep it: you can check the status of your request with it at any time.
